Ziyi Xu | 徐子绎

I am a fourth-year undergraduate student in the ACM Honors Class, Zhiyuan College, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I previously worked as a visiting scholar at Stanford University through the UGVR program, advised by Christos Kozyrakis. Before that, I was a research intern at the Emerging Parallel Computer Center (EPCC Lab), working with Prof. Quan Chen and Dr. Weihao Cui.

My research interests broadly lie in efficient distributed systems and machine learning systems. I am particularly interested in building high-performance, resource-efficient, and resilient infrastructures for large-scale LLM serving. I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science beginning in Fall 2026. Feel free to check out my CV and reach out if you're interested in my research or coursework.

[2025/06] I started my visiting in Stanford MAST lab!

[2024/09] I became the teaching assistant of the course Optimization Methods (MATH3806, 2024 Fall).

Apart from my passion for computer science, I have a wide range of interests and hobbies.

I am a guitar player 🎸 since 2022. My favorite band is GALNERYUS. Wish to be my own guitar hero.

I am a big fan of the 🎀 Touhou Project. I've been playing the games and listening to Touhou music since 2019. I've long dreamed of becoming a doujin creator one day.

I am also a dedicated Minecraft player 🎮. I run a server with friends and we have built many fun things together.

I love football ⚽ and co-lead my team (ACMClass2022) to win ACM Class Football Championship twice together.
